JUNE 10, 2010 - WAITING WATCHING.
I'm starting to figure out a plan as to how I am going to go about finishing this record. It's been one month since I've listened to any of the sessions, so I'm a little unsure exactly how much work is left. Still, once I am able to get going again, I should be able to wrap things up in a rather short amount of time. As soon as anyting of note happens, I'll post about it here.

Also, I am planning on doing some shows in Los Angeles later in the summer, so check the SHOWS page in the next few weeks for more information.

MAY 7, 2010 - LAX TO STL/STL TO LAX AGAIN.
I'll be heading back home to Los Angeles this weekend, taking with me a hard drive full of nearly finished songs. I still have to do vocals on everything before we can start mixing, but I'm really pleased with what I've got so far. My longtime friend Nathan Jatcko spent a few days with Clayton, Will, and I absolutely transforming this record with his amazing piano and synthesiser work. As soon as something is finished, I'll post it here.

APRIL 13, 2010 - STL TO LAX.
We just finished up part one of tracking for the new record. It would be a stretch to say that we're halfway done, but I am totally excited about what we've done so far. My great friend Clayton of So Many Dynamos absolutely killed it on drums all week long and Will has every sound dialed in wonderfully thus far. I can't wait to get back in two weeks. There are a few videos posted on the Vimeo page. More updates to come.

MARCH 12, 2010 - VOICE PROJECT.
Back in December my good friends Dawes stopped by my house to record videos of two cover songs as a part of the Voice Project. Head on over to the Voice Project's site to see a cover of Blake Mills' "Hey Lover" with me playing tambourine and singing a bit. While your there, check out other amazing videos by R.E.M.'s Mike Mills, Andrew Bird, and others. Also, please make sure to read about this wonderful project benefiting the women of war-torn northern Uganda.

MARCH 3, 2010 - RECORDING SOUNDS.
It seems like forever since I last spent any time in a recording studio. This is all going to change in exactly one month when I travel to St. Louis, Missouri to begin recording a new record with my wonderful friend (and wonderful drummer) Clayton Kunstel and possibly one or two more of his fellow So Many Dynamos. Our new friend Will Jones will be recording and engineering at his Yellow Hat studio, which is located on one of the greatest streets in town, Cherokee Street.

Once we get settled in, I'll be frequently updating this site with videos, photos, and other reports from the studio and wherever else I go in St. Louis, including the Cardinals' home opener. I cannot wait for April.

JANUARY 30, 2010 - HELLO!
Welcome to my brand new website. Look around and make yourself comfortable. In the future, there will be videos, tour dates, new music, and other interesting things. As for now, spend some time on the RELEASES page listening to full versions of all of my songs, or on the GALLERY page flipping through new photos taken by my friend David Lekach.
